Writing
is not for the faint of heart, or for those who hate to sit in a chair...for long periods of time...in front of the computer...with
nothing but you, your thoughts, your cup of tea, and a snoozing puppy dog at your feet.
What one word describes the
writing life? Hard to say, but one powerful description that comes to mind is perseverence. Life as a writer is hard, yet
amazing. Tough when the thoughts escape you, and simply overwhelming when the Lord gives you the right words at the right
time to change the heart of the reader.
I encourage you to learn all you can about the industry, yourself, and your
subject matter. Most of all, I pray that you will have a closer walk with Jesus as you passionately set out to write words
that will bring life to those who read them...for "where there is Jesus, there is life!"
